8x30 Residence is a house project in the most peaceful "hẻm" of Sai Gon central. The project is sited on a rare minor street that still preserves such long-lived trees. As the estate covers an area of 240 m2 (8x30), we have to face the common urban problem of the elongated tube houses standing close to each other with a severe lack of light and natural ventilation. Instead of pushing full mass, we created the house with some lightwells to ventilation, which helps improve the microclimate of the building.
